Description
This position, based in Costa Rica, Poland, or the United States, will lead and support global deployments of SAP Ariba modules, ensuring smooth implementation, comprehensive testing, effective training, and robust post-go-live support. The role serves as a subject matter expert for Supplier Lifecycle Performance, Sourcing, Contracts, and Buying & Invoicing, driving operational excellence and fostering user adoption. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, data-driven strategy implementation knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Position Responsibilities
Testing & Deployment
- Conduct testing for SAP Ariba modules, including Supplier Lifecycle Performance, Sourcing, Contracts, and Buying & Invoicing.
- Provide support for planning, execution, and post–go-live activities throughout the system deployment lifecycle.
Implementation and Change Management
- Assist with the development and delivery of training on the operational use of modules and the system.
- Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during process, data, control, and system improvements.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders for successful implementation and adherence to optimized processes.
- Prepare system documentation, update SOPs, instructions, and manuals.
Issue Resolution & Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network across legacy and new systems.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, IT or related field
- Five to eight years of experience in P2P role
- Experience working with Ariba, SAP Business Network and SAP ERP systems.
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
- Previous experience working with suppliers that support Zoetis applications and 3rd party Zoetis suppliers
Technical Skills Requirements
- B2+ English in written and oral communication
- Proven ability to work and navigate in a global organization, interacting with multiple layers within the organizational matrix
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, specifically in the following modules: Supplier Lifecycle Performance, Sourcing, Contracts, and Buying & Invoicing
- A successful track record of managing global system implementations
- Expertise in end-to-end system testing (including functional testing and User Acceptance Testing).
- Ability to deliver system training for both legacy and new platform
- General knowledge of procurement and financial systems, including SAP Business Network, Ariba, SAP ECC and SAP S4 Hana
- Outstanding data analytical and problem-solving skills with emphasis on detail and accuracy
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to work outside standard regional hours to support global teams and deployment activities.
