POSITION SUMMARY:
As the SAP Sales Performance Management (SPM) Software Developer, you will be part of a team that’s responsible for the delivery and the support of the SAP Sales Performance Management solution currently deployed to 14 markets globally. You will be responsible for building and customizing new functionality on the SAP SPM platform (Former Callidus/SAP Commissions). The role requires extensive hands-on SPM development experience and will be responsible for configuration, development, unit testing, and deployment of capabilities and functionalities. You must also have excellent technical and functional skills to deliver a seamless client interaction while working effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, and working in a matrix organization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Percent of Time
Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the SAP SPM platform and products through configuration whenever possible - 15
Design, prototype, build, document, and support solutions for the SAP SPM to meet business needs, including customizations and integrations - 15
Design and develop Workflow solutions to increase productivity, usability, and adoption - 5
Write clean and efficient code - 10
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for design specifications - 10
Perform code review for peers - 5
Participate in development workstreams, from design through testing and deployment - 10
Accurately estimate work effort and set a realistic schedule for development - 5
Perform or assist in the execution of functional testing - 5
Maintain effective business relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report problems and delays - 10
Post-delivery - perform handoff and knowledge transfer activities to relevant teams - 10
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Commercial cross-functional team that includes but not limited to Functional SMEs, Developers, Product Owners, Zoetis Business, Managed Service Providers, Project Managers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with SAP SPM platform (CallidusCloud/SAP Commissions), which should include: Territory & Quota, Workflow, Dashboards and Commissions.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in Compensation Plan/Rules configuration
• Strong knowledge of database design and software development lifecycle
• Strong working experience on Agile methodology and DevOps framework
• At least one end-to-end implementation experience
• Ability to understand declarative limits of the platform and knowledge of where and how code should be developed
• Strong working knowledge of PL/SQL, HANA SQL
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributor
• Comfortable with modern software development lifecycle best practices including iterative and incremental development, delivering working software frequently with attention to technical excellence
• Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred Skills:
• Deep understanding of the SAP SPM
• Knowledge of SAP SPM Workflow
• Knowledge of SAP SPM API
• Knowledge of SAP SPM Territory Quota module
• Knowledge of SAP SPM Dashboards
• Knowledge of SAP SPM Embedded Analytics
• Knowledge of SAP SPM Database structure
• Knowledge of SAP SPM Integration (Informatica/SDI)
• Strong customer focus with a high tolerance for ambiguity and requirement changes
• Strong problem-solving mindset to ensure creative thinking for potential solutions
• Demonstratable technical thought leadership
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Working Hours: 100 pm – 900 pm India Time
