We are seeking a Software Engineer (IBM ACE) specializing in data and integration services to join Zions Bancorporation. The individual in this position plays a key role in helping us continue modernizing and maturing our data and integration services with a focus on cloud enablement and continuous delivery. This Software Engineer will also play a part in exploring artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to streamline our processes and improve our solutions. The Software Engineer will:

• Participate in the design, development, and automated testing of data and integration services using technologies like Apigee Hybrid, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), Python, and PySpark.

• Explore ways to effectively and appropriately incorporate artificial intelligence to improve our processes and solutions.

• Provide support for the solutions we deliver, including root cause analysis and periodic on-call duties.

• Work on a cross-functional SAFe Agile team.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science or related field, and a minimum of 4 years’ directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements

• Expertise in data-as-a-service and API management concepts and how to use these with different types of integration technologies. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD, WSDL.

• Experience with integration middleware solutions (ESBs, API gateways, messaging platforms, etc.). Experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and Apigee Hybrid API gateway is preferred.

• Working knowledge of Java, Python and Kafka.

• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, build/deploy automation, Git, Azure DevOps and Digital.ai Release / Digital.ai Deploy preferred. Experience with containers is a plus.

• Experience with API security policies, OAuth, JWT, JWE, and HMAC, and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) concepts and tools.

• Experience working on Agile teams.

• Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) is a plus.

Location:

This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
