About the team:
We are looking for a new colleague in the Group Tax department at our location in Amsterdam. As ZF’s global tax function we support and facilitate ZF’s global business operations by providing tax expertise for ongoing and planned business, as well as tax planning, structuring, support in corporate re-organizations and M&A, local tax audit support.
What you can expect as Senior International Tax Specialist (m/f/d):
- Develop tax concepts to optimize the tax positions of group companies and lead implementation in cross-functional teams
- Manage the tax filing obligations of group companies in various countries
- Support corporate tax initiatives, corporate restructuring, M&A projects etc.
- Provide tax support to projects initiated by the Divisions or the Domains
- Support the Year-end and Return to Provision Tax Accounting process of the legal entities
- Support local finance teams in tax-related matters
- Support local tax audits
Your profile as Senior International Tax Specialist (m/f/d):
- 4-7+ years of experience in a similar role in a corporate tax team or in a global consulting firm with an emphasis on transfer pricing and corporate income tax
- Degree in Finance, Law, Economics or similar discipline
- Excellent knowledge of international taxation principles and at least one domestic tax system, preferably German tax law
- Solid knowledge of latest transfer pricing principles, OECD guidance and developments
- Fluent in English and ideally one other major European language (preferably German)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong project management skills
- Comfortable using SAP/ ERP systems and tax reporting tools to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders. Self-reliant and initiative taking; entrepreneurial mindset; assertiveness and team player
- Willingness to occasionally go on business travel
