The Lund office is located within the Volvo Cars innovation environment at <strong>Ideon Science Park</strong> and the team consists of around <strong>10 colleagues</strong>, creating a personal, focused, and highly collaborative setting.</p><p>This <strong>12-week paid Summer Engineering Program</strong> is designed for students in the later part of their studies who are looking for depth, responsibility, and close collaboration with experienced engineers.</p><hr><h4>🧠 What You Might Work On</h4><p>Depending on your background and interests, your work could include:</p><ul><li><p>Working with <strong>real-world driving data</strong> and data processing pipelines</p></li><li><p>Supporting tasks related to <strong>training data</strong> and <strong>model development</strong></p></li><li><p>Contributing to <strong>model training, evaluation, or analysis tasks</strong></p></li><li><p>Working with <strong>computer vision and perception-related data</strong></p></li><li><p>Supporting integration and validation work to understand how models and data are used in practice</p></li><li><p>Exploring how data, models, and system behavior connect in real products</p></li></ul><p>You’ll be matched to work that fits your skills and learning goals — this is not a one-size-fits-all internship.</p><hr><h4>🎯 Who We’re Looking For (Lund)</h4><p>This role is especially well suited for students who:</p><ul><li><p>Are in the <strong>later part of their Master’s studies</strong> (with approximately one year left)</p></li><li><p>Study Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, or similar</p></li><li><p>Have experience or interest in <strong>Python</strong>, data analysis, and working with technical systems</p></li><li><p>Are curious, thoughtful, and motivated to understand how things work end-to-end</p></li><li><p>Live in or near <strong>Lund</strong></p></li></ul><p>You don’t need to know everything — curiosity and willingness to learn matter more than a perfect background.</p><hr><h4>🌱 Support &amp; Learning From Day One</h4><p>You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, have a dedicated mentor, and be trusted with meaningful tasks early on.
