Business Analyst – Veeva Systems
Location: Pune/ Banglore
Experience: 4–8 years (with at least 2–3 years in Veeva CRM/Vault)
Role Overview:
The Veeva Business Analyst will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to implement, enhance, and support Veeva systems for Life Sciences clients. This role requires strong domain knowledge in pharma commercial operations and regulatory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Veeva CRM and Vault applications.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate configuration and customization of Veeva solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements aligned with industry best practices.
- Support UAT, validation, and deployment activities for Veeva releases.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on Veeva functionalities.
- Ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory standards during system implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or IT-related field.
- Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault (PromoMats, MedComms, or QualityDocs).
- Strong understanding of pharma commercial processes, regulatory submissions, and content management.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform (since Veeva CRM is built on Salesforce).
- Experience in data migration and integration with Veeva systems.
- Understanding of validation processes (CSV) and compliance frameworks.
Certifications (Optional but Preferred):
- Veeva Certification
- Veeva Vault Certification
