Roles & Responsibilities :

Production  Quality Technicians are responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards. They perform tests using measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, cosmetic quality and spectral properties test to verify product specifications. They monitor production processes to identify deviations, defects, or non-conformances and take corrective actions as needed. Production  Quality Technicians document inspection results, test data, and any quality issues in detailed reports for management review. They ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee accurate results. They collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Production  Quality Technicians analyze quality data and trends to identify recurring problems and recommend process improvements. They play a key role in ensuring that safety and quality protocols are followed on the production floor. By maintaining a focus on continuous improvement, they contribute to enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and improving overall operational efficiency.

Product Inspections

  • Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Defect Identification

  • Identify and document defects or deviations from specifications and communicate findings to supervisors or production teams.

Production Line Support

  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and provide real-time feedback to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Documentation

  • Record test results, inspection data, and quality-related incidents in logs or digital systems for traceability and reporting.

Equipment Calibration

  • Ensure inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and function correctly.

Weekly Activities :

 Weekly Reports

  • Compile and analyze weekly quality data, such as defect rates and trends, to support continuous improvement efforts.

Team Meetings

  • Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss quality performance, share updates, and receive training on new procedures or tools.

Process Improvement Support

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and suggesting process enhancements.

Job Specifications

  • Experience – 3 year’s experience in manufacturing roles is typically required.
  • Education – SSLC, PUC, diploma or equivalent, Degree.
