About this role
ZEISS Microoptics ist als Einheit des strategischen Geschäftsbereichs Photonics & Optics spezialisiert auf die Entwicklung, Optimierung, Mastering, Replikation und Integration von Optikanwendungen auf Basis von mikrooptischen und holografisch-optischen Elementen.
Ihre Rolle
In Ihrer Funktion als Applikationsingenieur für Software sind Sie verantwortlich für die Entwicklung und Anpassung von Softwarelösungen für Maschinensteuerungen. Sie werden komplexe Softwarearchitekturen für Automatisierungslösungen aufbauen und implementieren. Zu Ihren weiteren Aufgaben gehören u.a.:
Programmierung und Entwicklung von Software für unsere Anlagen, die Automatisierungsprozesse steuert und überwacht
Fungieren als zentrale Schnittstelle zwischen internen Entwicklungsbereichen und externen Lieferanten sowie Dienstleistern
Federführende Mitwirkung an der Gesamtprozessentwicklung von HOE-Replikation
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Hardwareentwicklungsteam zur Integration von Hardware- und Softwarelösungen
Unterstützung bei der Inbetriebnahme von Systemen und der Fehlersuche vor Ort beim Kunden

Ihr Profil
Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Automatisierungstechnik oder einem verwandten Bereich. Alternativ haben Sie vergleichbare praktische Erfahrungen im industriellen Umfeld gesammelt
Sie besitzen fundierte Kenntnisse in der Programmierung von Beckhoff-Steuerungen und sind vertraut mit den relevanten Entwicklungsumgebungen und Programmiersprachen wie C++, C#, Python, TwinCAT und Codesys sowie den Standards wie IEC 61131
Ihre Erfahrung umfasst die Bereiche Mess-, Steuer- und Regelungstechnik, Automatisierungstechnik, Antriebstechnik sowie Sensorik und Datenverarbeitung
Sie haben praktische Erfahrung in der Inbetriebnahme von Maschinen und der Fehlersuche gesammelt
Sie arbeiten gerne in crossfunktionalen Teams und haben Freude daran, Prozesse zu optimieren
Ihre Arbeitsweise ist proaktiv und lösungsorientiert, und Sie sind bereit, für Einsätze beim Kunden im In- und Ausland zu reisen
Sie verfügen über fließende Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch, sowohl mündlich als auch schriftlich
