<p>Join our private residence team, providing meticulous housekeeping services to ensure the home remains immaculate, comfortable, and welcoming for residents and guests. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will deliver discreet, reliable, and thorough cleaning and household support, maintaining the highest standards of presentation, hygiene, and confidentiality. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small household team.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities </h2><ul><li><p>Perform general cleaning duties throughout the residence to an exacting standard, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and sanitising of all living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and change bed linens and towels, ensuring correct presentation and care according to fabric and household requirements.</p></li><li><p>Carry out detailed cleaning tasks such as cleaning inside cupboards, wardrobes, appliances, windowsills, and other occasional deep-clean activities as scheduled.</p></li><li><p>Polish and care for furniture, silverware, glassware and other household items</p></li><li><p>Monitor and maintain cleaning products, toiletries, linens</p></li><li><p>Support preparation and turnaround of rooms for guests, including setting out amenities, ensuring privacy and discretion at all times and adhering to any special requests or protocols.</p></li><li><p>Report maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns promptly to management and cooperate with contractors or specialists during remedial work when required.</p></li><li><p>Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards, including safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment where necessary.</p></li><li><p>Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times, respecting the privacy of residents and guests within the household environment.</p></li><li><p>Undertake additional household tasks and seasonal projects as directed by the Household Manager or Head of Housekeeping.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Experience</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Previous experience in housekeeping or domestic service, preferably within private residences, luxury homes or boutique hospitality settings.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrable experience in laundry care, fabric handling and garment presentation is advantageous.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Knowledge</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Good understanding of cleaning techniques, materials and appropriate products for different surfaces and textiles.</p></li><li><p>Awareness of health and safety best practice, including COSHH principles for safe chemical use and storage.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Skills</strong></h3><ul><li><p>High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently, take initiative and prioritise tasks to meet household standards and schedules.</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills and a professional, discreet manner when interacting with residents, guests and colleagues.</p></li><li><p>Physical fitness to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.</p></li></ul>
