Yokogawa is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Compliance & Risk Engineer to support the successful delivery of engineering projects by ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements. This role plays a critical part in strengthening project governance, reducing delivery risks, and supporting safe and efficient project execution.
This is a non-managerial, early-career technical role designed to develop future talent in Project Management, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and Risk & Compliance disciplines. Candidates will gain hands-on experience across project lifecycles, assurance processes, and risk governance frameworks, with opportunities for structured growth.
Support compliance activities across engineering projects, including documentation reviews, checks against regulatory requirements, and alignment with internal governance processes.
Maintain compliance evidence packs, audit trails, standards checklists, and certification documentation.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, regulatory assessments, and customer assurance reviews.
Support the identification, assessment, and logging of project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Assist in developing and maintaining risk registers, mitigation plans, and trend reports.
Track follow-up actions and support the implementation of preventive and corrective measures.
Prepare compliance and risk reports, dashboards, and governance summaries for project reviews and stage-gate approvals.
Assist in maintaining project documentation, including quality records, change logs, and technical evidence.
Contribute to project close-out reports, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, Legal, and Project Management teams to address compliance requirements.
Provide clear communication and basic guidance to project stakeholders on compliance and risk standards.
Liaise with external auditors or regulatory representatives under supervision.
Contribute to internal assurance reviews by gathering documentation, preparing responses, and supporting corrective action plans.
Assist in implementing quality, compliance, and governance improvements within project workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Systems, or related technical field).
1–2 years of experience in engineering, project delivery, compliance, QA/QC, or risk-related environments.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).
Basic understanding of regulatory standards (ISO, IEC, safety codes, or industry-specific compliance frameworks).
Knowledge of risk assessment techniques or quality processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a project environment.
A proactive, structured, and disciplined approach to work.
Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and technical documentation.
Proficient in written and verbal communication, with a detail-oriented working style.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications and document management tools.

Competitive salary, level depending on experience, plus incentive package
Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet customer and business needs
