JOB DUTIES: 

 

Receiving & Shipping 

  • Receive new products and customer returned units for calibration. 

  • Prepare and ship units back to customers or external vendors as required. 

  • Verify paperwork, serial numbers, and documentation accuracy for all incoming and outgoing items. 

Calibration Documentation 

  • Print and issue calibration certificates and calibration stickers. 

  • Ensure all documentation meets company, ISO, and customer requirements. 

  • Upload, file, and maintain calibration reports and records. 

  • Process all Calibration Lab return authorizations (RA) to and through the Cal Lab and Service Departments 

Vendor Coordination 

  • Reach out to external calibration vendors for quotes and lead times. 

  • Coordinate shipments and communication with third-party calibration service providers. 

  • Track vendor performance and escalate delays when needed. 

  • Communicate with vendors to ensure correct services are performed. 

Database & System Management 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in METTEAM and Service Central. 

  • Enter calibration results, update asset information, and close work orders as required. 

  • Monitor system accuracy and report discrepancies. 

Customer & Internal Support 

  • Communicate daily with internal personnel regarding job status, priorities, and special requests. 

  • Provide updates to external customers regarding calibration progress, lead time, and shipping status. 

  • Coordinates efforts of calibration and repair activities with technicians to properly expedite all products. 

  • Manages time effectively to ensure smooth and organized process in RA resolution. 

  • Assist with resolving customer issues related to calibration documentation or RMA processing. 

  • Supports the objective of “Total Customer Satisfaction” and functions as a team member in support/assistance of meeting goals of the M&C Division. 

Job Requirements:  

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.  

  • Ability to stand, walk, and handle instruments for extended periods. 

  • Good mechanical dexterity 

  • Ability to be “team-oriented” individual dedicated to customer satisfaction 

  • Ability to work well with group associates and other company personnel 

  • Ability to be well organized, and self-starter 

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. 

  • Ability to communicate well in both oral and written media 

  • Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED.  

  • 2 years’ experience in the handling and documentation of technical equipment.  

  • 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment related to shipping and receiving 

  • 1 year of administrative experience, including Microsoft Office.  

  • 1 year of experience using databases and software systems in a manufacturing environment  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Technical or associate degree 

  • Knowledge of ISO17025 Certification  

  • Experience with METTEAM and Service Central software system  

  • Experience using SAP 

  • Basic understanding of calibration processes
