The YMCA Southwestern New Brunswick is working hard to address the critical issues facing the region; the health crisis, population decline, youth outmigration and child poverty. At the Y, we are striving to build a diverse and inclusive community where each person is valued for the unique perspectives and contributions they bring.
The Y offers a diverse set of programs at 20 locations in the city and surrounding municipalities. We are a community of 450 employees and 500 volunteers. If you don’t have a Y story yet – now is your opportunity to get involved. We invite you to come to see what the power of belonging can do for you, your career and your community.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will help advance the YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick’s fundraising efforts by supporting annual giving, corporate partnerships, staff giving, and signature fundraising events. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will contribute to the planning, delivery, and growth of the Annual Campaign, Endowment Fund, and third-party fundraising initiatives that directly support positive community impact.
You will build respectful, meaningful relationships with donors, corporate partners, volunteers, and staff, while supporting strong stewardship practices, accurate reporting, and a positive donor experience. Working collaboratively across departments, you will help align fundraising efforts with the Y’s mission, values, and commitment to inclusive communities. This role is well suited to a relationship-driven, detail-oriented professional who values teamwork, brings curiosity and care to their work, and is motivated by contributing to measurable outcomes that make a real difference in people’s lives.
