Location: YMCA at KIPP Web Campus
Compensation: $17.95- $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | Mornings/Evening Hours | School Year
The YMCA at KIPP DC is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and responsible Group Leader for our Pre-K / Kindergarten program. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and creating a safe and engaging environment for young learners.

About the Position
We are seeking fun, enthusiastic, and committed Group Leaders to support our Pre-K/Kindergarten before and after school programs. Group Leaders assist the Site Director with daily program operations and help plan and deliver engaging activities that align with the YMCA School Age Curriculum.
You’ll have the opportunity to lead activities that spark creativity, encourage teamwork, support learning, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for all children.

The YMCA is one of the largest social service agencies serving Washington D.C., suburban Maryland and northern Virginia. Every year, we provide opportunities in wellness, aquatics, youth sports, summer camp, child care, and more for over 250,000 people through our 17 branches and program centers.
Our utmost goal is to make the Y and all we offer accessible and available to the entire community. With the help of our generous donors, community partners and members, we were able to provide $2,662,507 in scholarships and subsidies to more than 12,400 children, adults and families in 2014.
Over 3,140 volunteers gave 161,572 hours of their time and talent in 2014 to help the YMCA fulfill its mission. From dedicated board members to talented program volunteers, these caring friends and neighbors help the YMCA serve more individuals and impact more communities every year.
