About the Job
Some of the exciting tasks you will do as a Facility Housekeeping Technician include but are not limited to:
- Keeps assigned area clean and clear for all YMCA participants
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, and mopping
- Assists in set-up for meetings and/or special events
- Monitor and maintain cleaning: storage rooms, offices, kitchen, bathrooms
- Assist with laundry functions as needed
- Respond to accidents, spills, and other housekeeping emergencies
- Sunday - Thursday 4:00pm - 12:30am
- High school diploma or GED
- One-year relevant experience
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of performance
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, buffers, etc.)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemical capabilities, mixing proportions and use
- knowledge in maintenance and care of finished surfaces

What you'll do
- The Facility Housekeeping Technician is responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and clear for YMCA participants and performing various cleaning activities. They also assist in setting up for meetings and respond to housekeeping emergencies.
