"1. Core SAP FICO Skills
General Ledger (Universal Journal, Ledger concepts, parallel accounting).
Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR).
Asset Accounting (depreciation areas, asset classes, US GAAP rules).
Bank Accounting (Bank Communication Management, electronic bank statements).
Cash & Liquidity Management (Bank accounts in S/4HANA Public Cloud).
Controlling (CO)
Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting.
Internal Orders.
Product Costing (for manufacturing clients).
Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
Integration of FI & CO with MM, SD, PP.---

2. S/4HANA Public Cloud–Specific Skills
Fit-to-Standard Workshops: Ability to guide business users on standard SAP best practices and handle requirement mapping.
Configuration: Using SSCUIs (Self-Service Configuration UIs) for setup instead of SPRO customizing.
Extensibility: Knowledge of in-app extensibility (custom fields, forms, workflows).
Integration: Awareness of BTP Integration Suite for tax, banks, and third-party systems.
Financial Close: Knowledge of Group Reporting (if used for consolidation).

3. Domain & US Regulatory Knowledge
Accounting Standards: US GAAP, IFRS basics.
Taxation: US Sales & Use Tax, experience with Vertex/Avalara integrations.
Compliance: SOX, audit trails, internal controls.
Manufacturing finance processes:
Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM).
Variance analysis.
Work-in-progress (WIP) accounting.
Inventory valuation.

4. Data Migration & Reporting
Experience with Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC/Fiori app) for master data (GL, vendors, customers, assets).
Reporting tools:
Fiori financial reports.
Embedded Analytics (CDS views).
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for advanced reporting.

5. Soft Skills.
Strong business process understanding: ability to explain system-driven finance processes to CFOs, Controllers, and Plant Finance heads.
Stakeholder management: working with finance executives and non-finance teams (manufacturing, supply chain).
Change management: easing adoption of best practices, since heavy customizations are not possible.
Analytical mindset: map business KPIs to SAP reporting (profitability, cash flow, working capital).---

6. Cross-Functional & Integration Skills.
FI-MM Integration: GR/IR, inventory valuation, vendor payments.
FI-SD Integration: revenue recognition, billing, AR.
FI-PP/CO Integration: production order settlement, variance postings.
