Starting Pay: $22/hour

Position Summary Description:

Directs and controls the flow of work in the warehouse as directed by the Department Supervisor. Receives, stores, and distributes products within the establishment by performing the following duties. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervises and works with lead to direct and control the flow of work within the warehouse.
   
   
2. Upholds operational procedures with employees.
   
   
3. Solicits feedback from employees to find solutions to operational issues.
   
   
4. Onboards and coordinates the training of new employees.
   
   
5. Primarily responsible for night shift administration work, cutting in direct bills, liquor orders, assigning routes for picking, verifying load plans, execution of picking, other administrative tasks essential to the nightly operation.
   
   
6. Tracks and monitors individual night order selector picking and error rates following up appropriately with feedback/and or coaching.
   
   
7. Conducts daily pre-shift with team, reviewing KPI’s, prior day discrepancies, and other relevant information for night team. 
   
   
8. Conveys products and materials from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas.
   
   
9. Sorts and places products or materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as slotting location and item number.
   
   
10. Selects products and assembles customer orders from designated slotting locations in preparation for final check and delivery.
    
    
11. Marks materials with identifying information.
    
    
12. Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. Ensures all products stored and/or selected for delivery are free from damage and/or pest infestation.
    
    
13. Compiles storage and/or selection data for daily reports.
    
    
14. Prepare pallets for shipping with appropriate labeling information.
    
    
15. Primarily responsible for verifying shorts picked items and pallet checking.
    
    
16. Processes invoices for delivery and prepares driver manifest and clipboards for route.
    
    
17. Meets with Operations management weekly to relay communication to the night team.
    
    
18. Performs similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
    
    
19. Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; counseling employees, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Direct Reports Include: Night Lead, Night Order Selector

Qualifications, Education/Training, and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Five to eight years of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the foodservice industry. Previous supervisory experience highly preferred.

• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency will all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Must have the ability to calmly and effectively handle employee disputes, operational concerns, and order/delivery discrepancies.
