The Finance Sr. Analyst is instrumental in conducting complex financial analysis to guide strategic business decisions. Your role encompasses developing sophisticated financial models, performing risk assessments, and providing insights on financial health and performance. You will mentor junior analysts, contribute to policy formulation, and lead financial projects. This position demands a deep understanding of financial concepts, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations
• Develop financial models and scenarios for strategic planning
• Monitor and track key financial metrics and KPIs

Financial Reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Communicate financial results to management and stakeholders
• Identify and report on variances and trends

Cost Management
• Review and analyze expenses to identify cost saving opportunities
• Create and maintain cost allocation methodologies
• Develop and implement cost reduction strategies
• Monitor and track cost saving initiatives

Budget Management
• Assist in the development and management of annual budgets
• Monitor and track budget performance and variances
• Provide budget recommendations and cost saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines and regulations

Financial Systems and Processes
• Maintain and improve financial systems and processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Train and support team members on financial systems and processes
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Financial Projects
• Lead and support financial projects and initiatives
• Conduct financial analysis for project feasibility and ROI
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve project goals
• Provide project updates and recommendations to management

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• In depth knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both team members and senior management.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and making strategic decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications like the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
