<p>Seeking <strong>Cloud Engineer – AWS IoT</strong> for Long-Term Project<br>Hybrid / Possible Remote in Guadalajara, Jalisco (Mexico)</p><p>We are currently looking for a skilled <strong>Cloud Engineer – AWS IoT</strong> with a minimum of <strong>4 years of experience</strong> to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on designing, building, and operating scalable and secure AWS cloud solutions, with strong involvement in data, automation, and DevSecOps practices.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br>Design, build, and operate AWS cloud architectures ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.<br>Implement and manage data-focused AWS services such as Glue, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, and S3 data lakes.<br>Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.<br>Configure cloud networking components.<br>Deploy and automate infrastructure using Terraform with advanced modules.<br>Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.<br>Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.<br>Integrate cloud security controls and automated compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.<br>Implement IAM, encryption, firewalls, and secure networking practices.<br>Monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog.<br>Ensure compliance with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA.<br>Build and operate serverless and data lake environments.<br>Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services and/or Python.<br>Collaborate with product, data, and cybersecurity teams, participate in design reviews, and provide technical mentorship.</p><p><strong>Technical Skills Required:</strong></p><p>With <strong>4–8 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer</strong>, you must be proficient in the following technical skills:</p><p>Strong hands-on experience with AWS<br>Deep experience with Terraform<br>Strong understanding of cloud networking and security<br>Proficiency in Python<br>Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools<br>Experience with monitoring tools<br>Experience implementing DevSecOps practices<br>Experience with AWS Glue, Athena, and SageMaker</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br>Bachelor’s degree or higher<br>Fluent in English (Advanced)<br>Strong communication, empathy, commitment, and leadership skills</p><p><strong>Location & Schedule:</strong><br>Hybrid / <strong>Possible Remote</strong> work model in <strong>Guadalajara, Jalisco</strong><br>Candidates should be located in Guadalajara, Zapopan, or Tlaquepaque (remote candidates from other states may be considered)<br>Work hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00</p><h3><strong>Benefits:</strong></h3><ul><li>Attractive Salary $40,000 - $50,000 + Premium Benefits</li><li>Performance bonuses, grocery coupons, and savings are found.</li><li>Aguinaldo, premium vacations, and vacations paid</li><li>SGMM Medical insurance, family, and Life insurance. </li></ul><p><strong>Candidates must include their compensation expectations in their applications and resumes in English.</strong></p><p>Interested?
