MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Three (3) year of housekeeping experience with one (1) year previous supervisory duties.

1. Assigns and coordinates the department workflow and inspects work to ensure that standards are met.
2. Schedules staff shifts, may perform housekeeping duties in instance of staff shortage
3. Investigates and addresses complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
4. Provides training to the housekeeping staff and maintain staffing levels within budget.
5. Regularly takes inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
6. Suggests ways to increase productivity through the use of labor saving equipment or supplies.
7. Assists in personnel matters within department.
For facilities with specialty accreditation requirements:
1. Completion of annual required education related to specialty accreditation as defined by accreditation standards. Training may be completed through CBLs, trainings, In-services, and competency validation.

1. Must have physical ability to perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, reaching and bending and operating floor equipment such as vacuum cleaners, autoscrubbers, buffers, etc.
