Employment Type: Project-Based / Contract
The Process Technician supports commissioning and start-up activities related to process and power systems, including both static and dynamic commissioning tasks. This role works closely with the Process Commissioning Lead and Supervisor.
WSG Energy Services is seeking a Process Technician to support commissioning and start-up activities for an urgent 40MW temporary power project in Texas, with anticipated transition into a larger 200MW power generation project.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Operations

Participate in all safety programs and operational readiness activities

Ensure permits, isolations, and procedures are followed
Commissioning & Start-Up
-
Support static and dynamic commissioning activities

Assist with system start-up, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Conduct walkdowns, punch list verification, and check sheet completion
Coordination & Documentation

Support vendor activities and field operations

Assist with PSSR and system handover documentation

Participate in dynamic commissioning and operational testing
Qualifications & Experience

Process operations background in power or industrial environments

2+ years commissioning, start-up, or operations experience
-
Strong understanding of process systems and safe operating practices
Work Authorization:
Preference may be given to candidates eligible to work in the United States under applicable professional work authorization programs
