WSG Energy Services is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Technician to support mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for an urgent 40MW temporary power project in Texas, with anticipated transition into a larger 200MW power generation project.
The Mechanical Commissioning Technician supports mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, ensuring mechanical systems are verified, preserved, and ready for start-up.
Participate in safety meetings, audits, and hazard assessments
Ensure permits and isolation requirements are met
Perform system walkdowns, punch verification, and equipment checks
Support static commissioning activities and system readiness
Assist with start-up and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment
Complete commissioning check sheets and documentation
Support vendor activities and inspections
Assist with equipment preservation and turnover
Millwright Journeyman ticket
2+ years commissioning or completions experience
Experience with Caterpillar 3516H will be prioritized.
Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills
