About this role
WSG Energy Services is seeking experienced and motivated Lube Oil Technicians to support our growing mechanical and industrial services operations. This role focuses on lube oil flushing, conditioning, filtration, and contamination control across rotating and static equipment in heavy industrial and energy facilities.
This is a hands-on, field-based position suited for technicians who take pride in clean systems, precision work, and executing technically sound maintenance scopes.
3 month project working 14/7 with day and night shift, staying in Camp
Key Responsibilities-
- Execute lube oil flushing, cleaning, and conditioning programs on industrial equipment
- Operate filtration skids, pumps, hoses, heaters, and sampling equipment
- Perform oil sampling, contamination checks, and basic analysis interpretation
- Support commissioning, shutdown, turnaround, and maintenance scopes
- Install and remove temporary piping, hoses, strainers, and filtration setups
- Maintain cleanliness standards for oil systems, equipment, and work areas
- Complete field documentation, job reports, and sample tracking
- Work closely with supervisors, mechanics, and client representatives
- Follow WSG and client safety procedures at all times
Required Qualifications-
- 2+ years experience in lube oil flushing, oil conditioning, or industrial filtration
- Experience working around turbines, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, or hydraulic systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of oil contamination control
- Comfortable working in industrial, plant, and field environments
- Ability to read basic P&IDs and follow work instructions
- Valid driver’s licence
- Physically capable of working long hours, lifting hoses, and working in all weather
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commissioning or major turnaround projects
- Oil sampling or condition monitoring experience
- Mechanical trade background (millwright, mechanic, or similar)
- Confined space and fall protection certifications
Work Environment-
- Field-based, project-driven work
- Day and night shifts depending on project requirements
- Camp work
