Role Summary and Impact


The Research Executive is a pivotal role focused on providing key operational support for data processes and addressing specific research needs related to media consumption, audiences, and market studies. This individual ensures the accurate execution of data processes, the quality and integrity of data, and adherence to technical and governance guidelines established by WPP. The role's impact is measured by the agility and error reduction in data operations, the precision and utility of the insights generated from research, timely fulfillment of ad-hoc requests, and increased satisfaction among internal teams who receive comprehensive support and actionable data for strategic decision-making.


Skills and Experience:

  • Analytical & Insight Generation: Strong ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights from media/audience/market research, and identify client needs for data-driven solutions.

  • Data Operations & Quality: Experience with data processes (ETL), ensuring data integrity, quality, and adherence to governance and technical standards.

  • Research & Methodologies: Proven capability in applying research tools to strategic questions and fulfilling ad-hoc research requests precisely.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication for presenting findings and collaborating effectively with internal teams.

  • Organizational & Prioritization: Skilled in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing based on impact, and delivering timely, high-quality results.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining effective relationships with internal teams, media partners, and external vendors.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, providing support and actively participating in discussions.

  • Proactive communication style to report anomalies, alerts, and progress, keeping stakeholders informed at all times.
