World Wrapps - HR and Recruiting Coordinator
Summary of Position:
The People Operations & Recruiting Coordinator supports core HR and recruiting processes across multiple restaurant locations. This role focuses on recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR administration, payroll and benefits support, compliance tracking, and employee engagement programs. The Coordinator partners closely with General Managers, payroll, and leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent people operations.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $60,000 - $70,000 base annual salary
- Performance Bonus - up to 10% of annual salary
- 120 hours of annual PTO
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance will be provided. World Wrapps employer contribution will be based on 100% for the employee and 50% for the employee’s dependents on the company’s base health plan.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance
- Support recurring people processes including performance review tracking, documentation management, audits, and HR trackers.
- Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS, payroll, and internal systems.
- Act as a first point of contact for General Managers and team members for basic HR questions, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Assist with workers’ compensation claims, leaves of absence, employment claims, and state reporting documentation.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Support bi-weekly payroll processing by collecting approvals, tracking corrections, assisting with final pay documentation, and resolving basic issues.
- Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, terminations, audits, invoice review, and open enrollment logistics.
- Coordinate with external vendors (payroll providers, benefits platforms, brokers) to ensure accurate data flow and timely updates.
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Coordinate hourly and management recruiting efforts including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer documentation.
- Support sourcing and screening efforts for hourly and GM roles.
- Own onboarding coordination for new hires, ensuring completion of paperwork, system access, training materials, and checklists.
- Support and occasionally assist with in-person onboarding and HR process training for General Managers.
Performance, Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and maintain people-related reports including turnover tracking, engagement results, tip trends, bonus tracking, and Weekly Business Review inputs.
- Maintain trackers and dashboards to support leadership visibility into people metrics.
Engagement & Culture Programs
- Coordinate team member engagement surveys and assist with report preparation and follow-ups.
- Support recognition and milestone programs including birthdays, anniversaries, referrals, and monthly recognition initiatives.
- Coordinate gifts, certificates, communications, and leadership notifications tied to engagement programs.
Offboarding
- Coordinate offboarding logistics including asset recovery, system deactivation requests, and third-party notifications.
- Support voluntary and involuntary terminations by preparing documentation, tracking final pay requirements, and ensuring compliance checklists are completed.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting coordination, or people operations support. (Exposure to multi-location or hospitality environments preferred)
- Working knowledge of basic California labor law, payroll, and HR compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines.
- Clear, professional communicator comfortable working with managers and team members.
- Experience with HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., BambooHR, SpotOn, Ease) a plus.
