Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) – mandatory or highly preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) – mandatory or highly preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) – nice to have.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) – nice to have.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification (v4) – nice to have.

Work Experience

  • 5+ years in technical support, cloud operations, or infrastructure management.
  • Experience in Managed Services or MSP environments.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux Server Operating Systems.
  • Experience working within a 24x7 technical support environment.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services: VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Networking (NSGs, VPN, ExpressRoute), Storage Accounts, Azure AD.
  • Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates).
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and incident, problem, and change management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor, Azure Policy.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud technologies (Azure Arc, Azure local).
  • In-depth understanding of Azure IaaS/PaaS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cost management, CSP, and EA programs.
  • Ability to create and deploy ARM templates and PowerShell scripts.
  • French language skills are an asset.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

Responsabilties:

  • Manage and support hybrid cloud infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical incidents for clients, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Implement and test changes in accordance with ITIL-based Change Management procedures.
  • Identify gaps in services, processes, or methods and proactively drive solutions.
  • Monitor customer environments, providing recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Escalate issues to management or third-party vendors as required by SLA contracts.
  • Maintain and enhance technical documentation for supported client environments.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service through all communication and incident management activities.
  • Advise clients and internal teams on Azure Reserved Instances, Hybrid Benefit, auto-scaling, and resource rightsizing.
  • Define and implement Azure Policies and Tagging standards to support chargeback/showback models.
  • Provide guidance on enterprise agreement (EA), Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA), and CSP billing models.
  • Assist with subscription consolidations and migrations.
  • Participate in incident response and remediation efforts, including mentorship on security and governance.
  • Adopt and utilize third-party platform tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Tanzu, LogicMonitor) for daily operations.
