Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' progressive experience in a related field preferred.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $42,000 to $52,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

A Brief Overview
The purpose of this role is to facilitate, organize, streamline the onboarding process for US new hires to ensure all requirements are accurately completed in a timely manner. Additionally, the Onboarding Specialist will take an active role in managing the I-9 process as well as assist in designing and developing onboarding initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meets onboarding time frames and collaborates with multiple departments throughout the organization.
  • Manages background and drug screening checks for hires.
  • Manages I-9 process to ensure compliance with E-Verify as well as conducts quarterly I-9 audits.
  • Collaborates with each new hire to complete their onboarding tasks, compliance requirements, including accuracy and completion of new hire paperwork prior to start date.
  • Manages new hire inquiries regarding their onboarding process.
  • Provides knowledge and interpretation on the company’s policies and benefits.
  • Ensures all required documentation is properly documented and stored in applicable HR applications for all hires.
  • Coordinates new hire orientation.
  • Collaborates with talent acquisition team regarding changes in start dates due to onboarding paperwork delays or compliance issues.
  • Assists in designing and developing onboarding initiatives including work instructions.
