Key Responsibilities:

The objective of the Project Officer role is to support the Operation Coordinator/Ops Lead in implementing the project activities, achieving the project's primary objectives, ensuring each phase is executed according to project plan and targets. Additionally, project officer will also work closely with WVI’s implementing partners, ensuring the adherence of Humanitarian standards and principles.  

  

Background SAFER Project Aceh-North Sumatra:  This emergency response project aimed to ensure that affected children and communities in Sumatera have immediate access to essential support services that meet their urgent basic needs and protection rights through following sectors: 

  • WASH in Emergencies 

  • Protection 

  • Nutrition  

  • Livelihood 

  • And other potential sectors. 

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Public Health, Economic and Business, Development Studies, Social Works, and other relevant fields

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Officer specializing in Emergency Response, Health, or Economic Development programs.

  • Experienced in managing Field Facilitators.

  • Proficiency in English communication is highly valuable, or equal with TOEFL Score 450

  • Ability to move freely, both indoors and outdoors, to conduct site visits, meetings, and other activities related to the job responsibilities.
