Job-Purpose
The FDF will facilitate effective implementation of the Faith and Development activities in Badghis. she will facilitate all the relevant trainings, events and gatherings and community dialogues on faith related activities, WVA Child and Adult Safeguarding Policy and Safeguarding Incident Preparedness Plan are conducted timely in the respective provinces.
This position is only for females because the trainings are conducted for faith leaders and female teachers. According to the rules and regulations by the de-facto authorities, training should be conducted gender separated, so a female trainer can hold training for females.
Engage and facilitate assessments on knowledge, attitude and practices on harmful traditions in the target communities.
Support faith leader CHATs to follow up on community dialogues on harmful attitudes and cultural practices facilitated by trained faith leaders within the target district.
Support CHATs through organising regular coordination meetings with key district level faith leaders to follow up on progress of action plans developed by trained faith leaders addressing harmful cultural/social practices
Assist faith leaders CHATs to organize quarterly coordination meetings to discuss and address feedback from the district level community consultation meetings
Conduct awareness sessions for the community people
Adhere to WV accountability standards
Ensure full compliance with WVI’s Accountability Frameworks, Safeguarding Policies, Code of Conduct, and donor requirements by actively participating in AAP mandatory trainings and integrating accountability mechanisms into all project activities.
Conduct meaningful AAP community engagement and sensitization during field visits, including distribution of CFM cards to beneficiaries and facilitating awareness sessions on the feedback and complaints mechanism throughout project implementation.
