Data Management Analyst – Level 1
Location: Costa Rica – Remote
Join World Fuel, a global leader in energy and logistics solutions, as a Data Management Analyst – Level 1. In this role, you will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our customer and vendor data across multiple systems. You’ll partner with global teams, analyze data quality, clean and update records, and help maintain the reliability of critical business information.
This is a remote position based in Costa Rica, giving you the flexibility to work from home while contributing to World Fuel’s high‑impact operational processes.
What You’ll Do
- Enter, update, and maintain customer, vendor, and account data in World Fuel’s internal systems.
- Review data for accuracy and completeness; correct or reenter information as needed.
- Identify and resolve duplicate or inaccurate records to keep our databases clean.
- Process data-related documentation in accordance with World Fuel policies and procedures.
- Respond to internal requests and complete assigned tasks within 24 hours during business hours.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Operations, Customer Service) to ensure high-quality data.
- Communicate with external customers and vendors to verify account details.
- Protect sensitive information by following World Fuel’s confidentiality and compliance guidelines.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Administration, Finance, Data, or related fields).
- 2–4 years of experience in data management, data entry, or database support roles.
- Strong attention to detail and a high commitment to work quality.
- Excellent customer service orientation when interacting with internal and external partners.
- Experience with Oracle, MDM, Salesforce, or other enterprise data systems is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate virtually in a global environment.
- Knowledge of aviation or marine industry data is helpful but not required.
