Job Summary

The Monitoring Assistant SSA4 will play a crucial role in supporting the World Food Programme's monitoring and evaluation efforts, contributing to data-driven decision-making and ensuring program effectiveness. This role involves data management, analysis, and reporting to provide timely and accurate insights into program performance.

Job Responsibilities

Collect, process, and analyze program monitoring data using various data analytics techniques.
Maintain and update program databases, ensuring data integrity and adherence to data governance policies.
Develop and implement data visualization tools and dashboards to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Support the evaluation management process, including data collection for surveys and qualitative research.
Assist in the design and implementation of survey methodologies and tools.
Prepare comprehensive and insightful reports on program progress, outcomes, and impact, ensuring a results-oriented approach.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather information and ensure effective partnership management.
Contribute to the strategic thinking and planning of monitoring activities.
Apply the Waterfall Model principles to project monitoring where applicable.
Actively participate in team activities, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Leverage technological advancements to enhance monitoring processes and data management.

Job Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Data Analytics, including statistical software and data manipulation techniques.
Demonstrated experience in Database Management and adherence to Data Governance principles.
Proven ability to create effective Data Visualization products (e.g., charts, graphs, dashboards).
Experience or understanding of Evaluation Management processes.
Excellent Report Writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated Results-Oriented approach to work.
Capacity for Strategic Thinking and problem-solving.
Familiarity with Qualitative Research Methods and Survey Design.
Proven ability to work effectively in a Teamwork environment.
Technologically Savvy with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and systems.
Understanding of Partnership Management principles.
Knowledge of Program Monitoring best practices.
Familiarity with the Waterfall Model is a plus.
