ANTECEDENTES Y PROPÓSITO DEL CARGO


El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP, por sus siglas en inglés) es la organización humanitaria líder que salva vidas y cambia vidas, brindando asistencia alimentaria en emergencias y trabajando con las comunidades para mejorar la nutrición y crear resiliencia, asistiendo cada año a 97 millones de personas en 88 países. En Venezuela, WFP brinda asistencia alimentaria a aproximadamente 200,000 personas al mes a través de un programa de comidas escolares, con la meta de alcanzar a 1.5 millones de personas en zonas de mayor incidencia de inseguridad alimentaria para finales de 2026.

RESPONSABILIDADES


Esta posición requiere por parte del candidato, la completa disposición de moverse continuamente desde y hacia las distintas oficinas en las que WFP tiene operaciones, para cuyas asignaciones contará con viáticos, hospedaje y seguridad provista por WFP a todo su staff.
1. Llevar a cabo operaciones de mantenimiento de los sistemas y equipos de computación y comunicaciones, así como tareas de seguimiento, diagnóstico y optimización, para garantizar que funcionen con eficacia y poder utilizarlos fácil y eficientemente.
2. Ocuparse del mantenimiento de la tecnología: equipos de computación e impresión, equipos de telecomunicaciones, incluidas tareas estándar de reparación, configuración y almacenamiento, de conformidad con los mecanismos de protección de los datos y de control del acceso, para garantizar que el personal del WFP tenga a su disposición el equipo informático que necesita.
3. Mantener actualizado el sistema de control de activos, registrando oportunamente la asignación y desincorporación de equipos en cada localidad. Tendrá todas las responsabilidades asignadas al Punto Focal de Activos en su región de asignación.
4. Responder a la asignación de tareas por parte del supervisor de la unidad de TEC, velando por que se lleven a término de acuerdo con las normas y los plazos acordados, con el fin de sostener la prestación efectiva de los servicios.
5. Responder a consultas de diverso tipo sobre tecnología y sistemas para ayudar al personal del WFP a prestar sus servicios.
6. Con el apoyo de colegas de categoría superior, impartir capacitación estándar a los usuarios finales de la tecnología y los sistemas para velar por que el personal utilice con eficacia esa tecnología y sistemas estándar.
7. Ocuparse de la instalación sistemática de equipo y programas informáticos, incluidas la realización de pruebas y la detección de problemas, para contribuir al funcionamiento efectivo de la tecnología.
8. Con el apoyo remoto del Asociado de TEC, instalar, poner en funcionamiento y mantener sistemas y equipo de telecomunicaciones, para garantizar servicios óptimos y conformes con los procedimientos operativos estándar.

9. Apoyar la elaboración de material estándar, como documentación de capacitación y contenidos web, por cuenta de funcionarios de categoría superior, para que el personal tenga acceso a la información necesaria sobre los servicios y productos de TI.
10. Sugerir mejoras en los métodos y procesos para sostener la mejora continua de los servicios de TI.
11. Seguir los procesos y procedimientos establecidos en materia de intervención en emergencias, según sea necesario, para contribuir a crear las condiciones propicias para satisfacer las necesidades de asistencia alimentaria de emergencia.

REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS REQUERIDOS


Educación: Finalización del ciclo de educación superior. Se valorará la presentación de un certificado de educación superior (Técnica y/o Universitaria) en Computación y/o Informática.
Experiencia: Tener experiencia en los procedimientos para el mantenimiento de los equipos de computación e impresión, instalación y mantenimiento de cableado estructurado, tipología de redes ethernet y WiFi, Access Point, Fortigate, Cisco, configuración de equipos celulares y otros dispositivos móviles satelitales y atención al usuario por medio de las herramientas de Microsoft en primer y segundo nivel.
