About the Team

Workday is looking for Business Development Representatives to join our expanding team. We are looking for driven individuals to be able to proactively build relationships with prospects for Workday, dealing closely with our accounts executive team based across EMEA to develop sales activity. This role will give you excellent exposure working with other departments within Workday such as Sales, Marketing, Operations and other departments when required.

About the Role

In this role, you will apply your consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors. Success relies on using effective selling strategies to optimally position Workday as a viable alternative to legacy solutions, while educating the market on our technology and applications. You will help generate new business opportunities through strategic outbound calling and prospecting into enterprise companies.

About You

Basic Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in Financial Services, Financial Planning and /or Consultative background

Other Qualifications

  • Salesforce knowledge is a plus

  • Credibility & value proposition: the ability to articulate the value and potential of technology

  • Candid communication & trust building: excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport quickly

  • Business acumen: ability to absorb new concepts and showcase a passion for innovation in order to delight and inspire our prospect customers

  • Accountability: demonstrate a highly motivated, tenacious, and detail-oriented approach to work
