The Project Manager will primarily lead the execution of projects for our Texas clients from proposal through detailed design. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with a strong technical background to guide staff through projects. The Project Manager may also serve as a subject matter expert in support of other projects across the country and around the world.</p> <h5>What you will do:</h5> <ul> <li>Lead project teams through the development of preliminary engineering, detailed design, and quantification of transportation projects.</li> <li>Ensure deliverables and quality standards are met in accordance with the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.</li> <li>Manage and support internal and client cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Leverage existing relationships and new client and consultant relationships in the pursuit of new work.</li> <li>Actively participate in professional societies, organizations, and conferences by serving on boards, presenting at luncheons or conferences.</li> </ul> <h5>What you will bring:</h5> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.</li> <li>Active PE License in Texas or ability to obtain a Texas PE license within in one year of hire.</li> <li>TXDOT Prequalification’s <ul> <li>Bridge Design</li> <li>Multi-Level Interchange Design</li> <li>Bridge Class Culvert, Non-Bridge Class Culvert and Inlet Design</li> </ul> </li> <li>Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge design.</li> <li>Must be able to travel 10-15% to client sites.</li> <li>Knowledge of TXDOT Project Development Process, construction documentation &amp; administration and knowledge in state, local municipalities design process is a plus.</li> <li>TXDOT precertification’s in TXDOT bridge design/development</li> <li>AutoCAD and Civil3D experience.</li> <li>Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals.</li> </ul> <p>Woolpert, Inc. is a cutting-edge national architecture, engineering and geospatial (AEG) firm. &nbsp;Our transportation practice is deeply rooted in the firm’s long history of providing exceptional client service and innovative design.
