Senior:

Estimated annual base pay: $93,000 (minimum) - $121,000 (midpoint) - $149,000 (maximum)

If you’re an experienced Systems Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you to develop the Next Generation Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems.


The Senior Systems Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Leader, is responsible for leading product design efforts, mentoring engineers, and contributing to process improvements, strategic planning, and presentations. Operating with minimal supervision, the role involves independent work, oversight of project portfolios, and awareness of industry trends and customer needs. The engineer engages in high-level customer interactions, provides technical evaluations of new opportunities within the PLC process, and participates in enterprise negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design and Architecture: Develops and implements comprehensive system architectures, ensuring scalability and integration with existing technologies.

  • Technical Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves complex technical issues by analyzing multiple data sources and applying innovative solutions.

  • Project Leadership: Leads and manages system engineering projects, coordinating with cross functional teams to achieve project goals within deadlines.

  • Mentorship and Support: Provides guidance and technical expertise to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.

  • Performance Optimization: Monitors and enhances system performance and reliability, implementing best practices and continuous improvements.

  • Mentorship and Guidance: Acts as a resource and mentor to less experienced colleagues.

Successful candidates have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences (BS) in relevant field AND 4+ years’ experience

  • Provides leadership of system and subsystem technical scope defined above and takes a lead role with engineers, designers and technicians
