Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. 

Estimated annual base pay: $95,000(minimum) - $123,000(midpoint) - $152,000(maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design and Implementation: Designs and deploys complex network infrastructures to meet organizational requirements and industry standards.
  • Network Product Lifecycle Management: Oversees the complete lifecycle of network products, from procurement to decommissioning. Ensures regular maintenance and updates is applied to network equipment. Manages relationships with vendors.
  • Technical Mentorship: Provides guidance and support through knowledge sharing withing the team and assists with the developing the skills of other network engineers on the team.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnoses and resolves intricate network issues to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Available to work after hours and/or weekends, and on-call, as required.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitors network performance, identifying and implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.

  • Network Design and Implementation: Designs and deploys complex network infrastructures to meet organizational requirements and industry standards.
  • Routing and Switching: Proficient in configuring and managing routing and switching protocols.
  • Troubleshooting Expertise: Diagnoses and resolves network issues efficiently using advanced technical skills.
  • Performance Optimization: Skilled in monitoring and optimizing network performance metrics.
  • Wireless Network Optimization: Optimize wireless network performance coordinating site surveys to identify optimal access point placement and using tools to monitor and optimize network performance.
  • VoIP Design and Optimization: Proficiency in designing and optimizing voice networks. Advanced knowledge of data and voice protocols.
  • Integration and Optimization of Cloud Networks: Expertise in integrating cloud networks with on-premises networks and optimizing network performance. This includes configuring hybrid cloud solutions, implementing VPNs and direct connections, to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
  • Lifecycle Management and Optimization: Manages the entire lifecycle of network products, from procurement to decommissioning. This includes optimizing inventory management processes, ensuring that products are maintained and updated regularly, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Training: Skilled in collaborating with other departments to ensure that network solutions align with organizational goals. Conducts training sessions to develop other network engineers.
  • Project Management: Experienced in leading network related projects from planning to execution.
