Estimated hourly base pay:  $29.33 (minimum) - $37.98 (midpoint) - $47.12 (maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot automated hydraulic test stands for aerospace servo valves and control actuators.

  • Perform calibration and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment.

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of testing procedures and systems.

  • Conduct hands-on testing of pressure, temperature, and flow for aerospace components.

  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures.

  • Document test results and provide feedback to the engineering team for system optimization.

  • Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve system issues during development and testing phases.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures while working with high-pressure hydraulic systems.

  • Maintain detailed records of test configurations, setups, and results for traceability and quality assurance.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance system performance and reliability.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and test documentation.

  • Hands-on experience with test equipment, such as pressure gauges, flow meters, pumps, LVDTs, and temperature sensors.

  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair complex test systems.

  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and software (e.g., LabVIEW or similar tools) is a plus.

  • Basic programming and computer skills for configuring and operating automated systems.

  • Knowledge of safety practices related to high-pressure hydraulic systems and testing environments.

  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.

  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with engineers and technicians.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
