About this role

Wood is currently recruiting for a Technical Director – Midstream Gas / Gas Processing to join its Oil, Gas & New Energies (OGNE) business in Canada, focusing on midstream gas facilities and gas processing projects. This opportunity is hybrid and will be based in Calgary, AB.

The Role

This role provides strategic technical leadership across midstream gas and gas processing projects, ensuring engineering excellence, lean design approaches and operational efficiency. The Technical Director will drive innovation, best practices and technical consistency across projects, supporting successful execution from concept through delivery. While the primary focus will be gas plants, the role will also support upstream engagements including wellsites and gathering systems design.
