Wood is recruiting for a Field Piping Designer IV to join its Projects business unit, supporting brownfield surface facilities retrofits, expansions, and debottlenecking projects, primarily supporting the Mechanical Engineering Design needs in the Permian Basin.

Midland/Odessa area candidates strongly preferred, no per diem or relocation are available for this role. No outside agencies. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US with visa sponsorship now or in the future.

As a Field Piping Designer IV, you will be responsible for developing layouts and designs for brownfield projects across multiple engineering disciplines, including pipeline capacity expansion and debottlenecking, crude oil separation, water treatment, and mechanical retrofits. You will conduct site walkdowns, develop mark-ups, and create as-built documentation to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
