Summary:
Our Etobicoke facility is looking for a Quality Control Team Member!
Location: 514 Carlingview Drive. Etobicoke, ON. M9W 5H2
Shift: Night Shift
Pay Rate: $23.43/hr + $1.50 night shift premium

Responsibilities:
- Conduct foreign material and GMP audits which can contribute to potential contamination
- Conduct process and quality checks (i.e. printing, kwik lok coding, right packaging, batch #, physical parameters, product consistency) on the line from mixing to shipping area
- Conduct metal detector checks
- Verify line operating standards compliance
- Retain samples
- Report any deviation and assist in Hold & Release procedure
- Participate in complaints and/or nonconformance investigations
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Post secondary in a food safety/ quality related program.
- At least of 1 year experience in a quality control in food manufacturing.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong oral and written communication in English
- Ability to partner and collaborate with all levels of production from Operators to Supervisors
- Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
