As a Senior Information Management & Policy Advisor within the G6 Branch of 1(German/Netherlands) Corps, you will serve as a strategic advisor on senior-level IM and policy matters. Your role is central to ensuring that information flow, planning processes, and policy development are effectively aligned with CIS capabilities and NATO standards. Operating at the Staff Officer (SO) level, you will coordinate critical planning activities, develop conceptual approaches, and shape IM policy to support exercises, missions, and the overarching command structure of a premier NATO corps headquarters. This position requires a unique blend of strategic vision, policy expertise, and coordination skills within a multinational military environment.

Responsibilities:

• Advise, plan and co-ordinate on senior level regarding IM subjects within the G6 Branch as a part of 1GNC HQ.

• Advise, plan and coordinate on planning processes and information shring as part of IM within the G6 branch.

• Co-ordination on behalf of the G6 branch with DOS/IM regarding Informationa Exchange Requirements (IER) in line with the IM plan and alligned with CIS.

• Provide advice on measures to improve the information flow and the control of, within the G6/CIS environment and alligned with the HQ environment in all (cross)functional areas.

• Advice on the planning of exercises, missions and planning grouops using thorough knowledge of NATO policies and exercise preparation.

• Develop conceptual IM related approaches to current and future CIS and C2 requirements.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in executing information planning.

• Knowledge of NATO planning processes and Command structure.

• Experience in the use of Microsoft SharePoint.

• Advanced English skills

Nice to have:

• Previous NATO experience is preferred.

• Proficiency in the German language is preferred.
