INTERNSHIP SUMMARY

Curious about what it takes to keep a manufacturing facility running smoothly behind the scenes? The WK Kellogg Summer Internship offers students hands-on experience supporting warehouse and plant logistics operations that keep products moving efficiently and safely. This internship is designed to provide real-world exposure to plant warehouse operations while building practical skills in inventory, coordination, and teamwork. As an intern, you’ll work alongside experienced team members and gain insight into how warehouse operations support the broader manufacturing process.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Support daily warehouse and plant operations, including inventory handling, material movement, and organization.
  • Assist with receiving, staging, and storing materials in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Help maintain accurate inventory records and enter data into warehouse or plant systems.
  • Support cycle counts, audits, and general housekeeping activities within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and operations teams to help ensure materials are available when and where they’re needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and plant policies to help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.


WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

QUALIFICATIONS

This is a 4-month Summer 2026 student internship designed to provide hands-on experience within a plant warehouse environment.

At a Minimum:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education for the Fall 2026 term.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire, as of May 4, 2026.
  • Available to work full-time hours, including 12-hour shifts, starting May 4, 2026 through September 5, 2026.
  • Able to spend extended periods walking, standing, bending, and lifting moderately heavy items weighing approximately 20–25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.


Preferred:

  • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field aligned with warehouse and plant operations.


Salary Range: $20.00 per hour
