Kick‑Start Your Finance Career as a Finance Intern in Our Mexicali Plant. As a Finance Intern, you’ll be part of the plant finance team, gaining hands‑on experience that connects numbers to how our cereal is produced every day. This part‑time opportunity will allow you to learn, contribute, and build real-world skills while supporting both operations and accounting activities in a manufacturing environment.

WHY THIS INTERNSHIP?

You’ll gain real exposure to plant finance, work closely with operations, and develop practical skills that go beyond the classroom—all while balancing your studies with a structured, on‑site, part‑time schedule.

 

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Support balance sheet account reconciliations
• Participate in physical inventory audits and documentation
• Verify raw material consumption used in production
• Create and update reports using data from different sources
• Build and improve presentations for plant and finance reviews
• Update plant performance and financial dashboards (DDS3)
 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7th or 8th semester student in International Business, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Availability to work on‑site at the Mexicali plant, 25 hours per week (Monday through Friday)
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills
• Presentation and design skills using Canva and/or PowerPoint
• Intermediate level of English
• Strong willingness to learn, positive attitude, and curiosity about how the business operates
