Are you WAC?  If so, please continue reading below. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - As the Club Event Team Lead, you are responsible for creating, organizing, and executing engaging events that enhance the member experience and strengthen our WAC community. This role leads events from concept to completion, including planning, promotion, execution, and post-event evaluation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, people-focused, and thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with all departments to deliver memorable, high-quality experiences for members and guests.     Key Responsibilities Member Engagement & Communication Actively engage with members to understand interests, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for new events Promote events through multiple channels including in-club signage, email, social media, and direct member outreach Personally invite and connect with members to drive attendance and participation Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that encourages community building Event Planning & Execution Conceptualize, plan, and deliver a diverse calendar of events, including fitness, wellness, social, educational, and member appreciation events Manage all aspects of events from start to finish, including timelines, logistics, staffing, setup, execution, and breakdown Coordinate vendors, instructors, presenters, and partners as needed Ensure events align with the club’s brand, values, and member experience goals Cross-Department Collaboration Work closely with Fitness, Group Fitness, Member Services, Front Desk, Club Pub, and Operations teams to coordinate resources and support Communicate event details clearly to all departments to ensure seamless execution Partner with internal teams to integrate programming, promotions, and member initiatives into events Budgeting & Administration Assist in managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and maximizing return on investment Maintain event calendars, checklists, and post-event reports Track attendance, engagement, and member feedback to evaluate event success On-Site Presence & Experience Management Serve as the primary on-site point of contact and host(ess) during events Troubleshoot issues in real time to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience Ensure all events meet health, safety, and club standards QualificationsQualifications & Skills Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or member experience preferred Exceptional organizational and time-management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for people and community Ability to lead multiple events and priorities simultaneously Comfortable working evenings and weekends as required by the event schedule Creative mindset with attention to detail and follow-through WACy Perks Daily opportunities to… Be an entertainer and let your personality shine Be an important part of fulfilling a meaningful purpose Create a welcoming, “home away from home” environment   Ongoing opportunities to… Learn, Grow and Develop as a person and in your career Contribute to the success of your team, club and community   Benefits including… Full club membership includes Kids’ Clubhouse WAC University Curriculum Health, Dental, 401K,Vacation https://www.thewac.com/wp-content/uploads/WAC-Team-Member-Benefits-Grid.pdf     These are just a few reasons to work at WAC.  Does this sound fascinating?    If so, please apply today!   Find us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram!
