Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
The Neurodevelopmental Service offers community based mental health services to children, adolescents and their families. The clients in the service will range in age from 5-17 years, and have a primary presentation of Autism, Tourette Syndrome, Intellectual Disability, often in conjunction with common co-morbid problems. They have a broad range of behavioral, emotional and mental health concerns that impact their home, school, and community environments. Clients and their families will receive services that are delivered using a family-centered approach.
This Mental Health Clinician position will provide primarily complex case coordination and family-focused therapy services to clients and their families who are referred to the Neurodevelopmental Service at Child and Youth Treatment Services. The clients in the service will range in age from 5 – 17 years and have a primary presentation of Autism, Tourette Syndrome, ADHD, Anxiety, Intellectual disability and have a broad range of behavioral, emotional and mental health concerns that impact on their home, school and community environments. Services are delivered using a family centered approach in a community-based setting.
