About this role

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our site working on the Sainsburys contract in Charlton, London.

As a Warehouse Planning Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient planning and coordination of warehouse operations. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery of objectives.

How will you contribute?

You will be supporting a busy warehouse environment:

  • Ensuring that the operation team have the required resource to successfully deliver our customer’s needs
  • Completing tasks to ensure plans meet operational needs
  • Owning various site reports and models to report on planned versus actual
  • Working closely with our customer and operations team to agree pick volume versus plan versus capability.
  • Managing holiday requests and other general admin work via various online systems 

To deliver this you would be required to: 

  • Be involved in the day-to-day planning of resource into specific departments in line with demand from our customer.

  • Re-evaluating the plan based on any changes such as absence or sickness to ensure the site maintains sufficient cover in each area.

  • Working closely with shift operation management to continuously improve our resource planning and keeping up to date with changes in the operation.

  • In addition, looking ahead at upcoming demand to ensure we are planning enough resource to keep up with any changes – this will involve close collaboration with recruitment and training departments so good communication is a must.

  • Ensuring any applicable trackers and reports are kept up to date with particular emphasis on plan versus actual so our forward view matches requirement.
