Situated in beautiful countryside, we are a happy and caring school in a vibrant village community. We have strongly supportive parents, governors and staff dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment. Our children love to learn  and have a positive attitude to all aspects of school life. They care deeply about the environment and enjoy caring for our school garden. We value first hand learning experiences, trips and residential visits and provide many opportunities for our children to flourish, especially in music, drama and sport.

The school is housed in a listed building which has under gone considerable refurbishment over the last few years to make it a light, modern and attractive learning environment. Our beautiful school garden is at the heart of our school: used as a place of relaxation, learning and play. 

All about the role:

We are seeking to appoint a class teacher for our Reception and Year 1. This is a temporary fixed term position until the end of August 2026.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has teaching experience in, and a good understanding of, the early years and KS1
  • Has inclusive practice and high expectations of all pupils’ learning, progress and behaviour
  • Is a team member who will contribute positively to the work in our school 
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is committed to upholding and developing the school’s Christian vision, ethos and values
