About this role

Salary: 12.26 per hour                                           

Hours of work: 10 hours per week. 2 hours after school cleaning. Term time only plus two weeks during summer holiday for deep clean.

Contract type: Permanent

All about the role:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cleaner to join our team at a welcoming primary school. This important role helps ensure our classrooms and shared areas remain clean, safe, and ready for young children to learn and play. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors, and staff area 
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting 
  • Emptying bins and maintaining hygiene standards 
  • Using cleaning products and equipment safely 
  • Following school health & safety procedures 

About You: 

  • Trustworthy, punctual, and hardworking 
  • Takes pride in maintaining a clean environment 
  • Able to work independently 
  • Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
