SEND – Engaging with Children, Young People, and Families 

We are thrilled to be offering two apprenticeship opportunities within our SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) Local Offer Team to complete a Level 3 (Diploma in) Business Administration apprenticeship. Providing the right people the chance to excel in a fast-paced environment, supporting processes enabling families to access the information and services they need. There will be a particular focus on inclusive activities information and access to schemes supporting this.

Your responsibilities will include a wide range of business support functions: passing on accurate information between teams, partners and the public, minute taking, proofreading, answering queries on email, phone or on Microsoft Teams, using accessibility software to help identify and fix issues, archiving and reviewing information and other tasks to support improvements on the Wiltshire Local Offer website and families access and understanding.

Ideally, you will have (some administrative experience and working) knowledge of Microsoft Office and enthusiasm to learn. Essential qualities include a passion for working with and for the SEND community, accuracy and adaptability, along with exceptional communication skills. Experience with special educational needs and disabilities personally or professionally is also desirable.
