About the Role
The Salesforce Administrator will support the ongoing development, optimization, and governance of the Salesforce platform. This role focuses on platform administration, configuration, data management, and automation, with preferred exposure to Salesforce Loyalty Management and Marketing Cloud. The position works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure Salesforce delivers maximum business value.
Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day Salesforce platform operations including user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and data access.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and automation using Flows and declarative tools.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability and performance.
• Maintain data quality through audits, duplicate management, and data hygiene initiatives.
• Support and configure Salesforce Loyalty Management including programs, tiers, member profiles, and reward processing.
• Translate loyalty program rules into system configurations in partnership with business teams.
• Monitor loyalty transactions, resolve discrepancies, and optimize reward workflows.
• Support Marketing Cloud configuration including Journey Builder, Email Studio, audience segmentation, and data extensions.
• Manage data flows between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud using Marketing Cloud Connect.
• Assist with campaign setup, testing, execution, and performance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with marketing consent, customer preferences, and data governance standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Partner with IT, Product, and Analytics teams on integrations, enhancements, and platform upgrades.
• Document system configurations, processes, and change history.
• Maintain structured change management and release governance processes.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend platform improvements.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end users to drive adoption and proficiency.
Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of overall IT experience with at least 2+ years as a Salesforce Administrator.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM architecture and configuration.
• Proficiency with Salesforce Flows and declarative automation tools.
• Experience providing user support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining platform operations.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce Loyalty Management and Marketing Cloud preferred.
• Experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, data extensions, and Marketing Cloud Connect is a plus.
• Additional Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Marketing Cloud, or Loyalty Management are desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy, operational excellence, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
