The Challenge
Lead a fleet of 130 vessels and support an ambitious newbuilding program fueled by the orders of our 20 international clients.
Own fleet strategy, technical performance, and customer satisfaction across a fast growing platform. Build and empower Vessel Manager teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost efficient operations, supported by robust data driven HSEQ systems. Drive innovation, digitalization, and continuous improvement across the fleet. Operate within a joint venture environment alongside experienced and committed partners.

Your Responsibilities
The Fleet Director holds overall responsibility for the operational and strategic management of the company division. Key objectives include:
- Implementing the strategic direction and achieving targets as defined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant national and international regulations and certifications (e.g. ISO 9001/14001)
- Efficient and high-quality management of the assigned vessels and teams, including continuous improvement of processes and customer satisfaction
- Building, maintaining, and developing sustainable customer relationships
- Overseeing and managing daily business operations
- Leading and developing teams
- Ensuring company certification and compliance
- Promoting quality and process optimisation
- Representing the company to clients, partners and service providers
Your profile
- Degree in a technical or business discipline
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in the maritime sector including technical ship management with a solid understanding of third-party ship management requirements
- Proven leadership and people management capability in complex operational environments
- High self-motivation and clear result orientation
- Excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills
- Innovative spirit, willingness to embrace change, and hands-on mentality
- Strong customer focus and service mindset
- Strategic perspective with the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Inspiring teams and driving change, visible and present as a leader
